About the Role
We’re looking for an Account Executive to join our sales team and support our growth in the German market, working from our office in the center of Copenhagen, Denmark.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with some years of sales experience, who wants to further develop their skills and gain experience in a dynamic fintech environment.
In this role, you’ll focus on managing warm leads provided by our Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) - guiding prospects through the sales process and helping them become long-term AltaPay customers.
Your Mission
As part of our Business Development team, your mission is to qualify leads, understand customer needs, and support the sales process through to contract signing. You’ll play an important role in our commercial success while gaining valuable training and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead Follow-up: Engage with warm leads handed over by our SDR team.
· Client Discovery: Conduct calls to understand client needs and communicate how AltaPay can support their business.
· Sales Support: Assist in preparing proposals and participating in contract discussions with the support of senior colleagues.
· Pipeline Management: Keep your sales pipeline up-to-date in HubSpot, ensuring accurate tracking of opportunities.
· Collaboration: Work closely with our sales and product teams to ensure client needs are met and expectations are aligned.
· Professional Development: Take part in ongoing training and coaching to continually improve your skills and knowledge.
Who You Are
· You have some years of experience from a B2B sales role, preferably selling fintech or similar services.
· You’re eager to learn, results-oriented, and comfortable engaging with potential clients over phone and email.
· You’re fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
· You’re organized, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple tasks at once.
· You have experience using HubSpot, Salesforce or similar CRM tools
Bonus Points
· Exposure to the payments industry.
· Familiarity with the retail or eCommerce sectors.
· Strong interest in technology and digital solutions.
