With a view to developing its Cloud environment and increasing usage, Market Pay is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer.
As a key member of the DevOps & IT team, you will play a pivotal role within Market Pay and its various international subsidiaries. You will be a technical point of contact for all GCP Cloud, DevOps and IT solutions.
You'll be reinforcing an existing DevOps team based in France.
MISSIONS
As an experienced engineer, you will be involved in both the design, development, general administration and maintenance of the platform, as well as the technical implementation of environments for hosting Market Pay solutions and assets.
You should be an experienced developer with the ability to design and code well-structured applications. Python skills are highly valued.
Good knowledge of Kubernetes as well as GCP components is required: specifically networking, big data, storage and database, identity and security services. You should also be familiar with on-premises hosting infrastructure.
As part of your day-to-day responsibilities, you will work closely with other senior DevOps and AppOps engineers across the company and mentor individuals on your team or other teams.
You will also work closely with development, data, IT, and security teams to ensure the smooth, reliable, and secure integration of new features and solutions.

PROFILE REQUIRED
Training and background
You will have a Master's degree in Computer Science, at least 6 years of experience in a similar role, and a desire to stay current on Software Design, Cloud, and DevOps topics.
Hard skills
● Very good knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
● Very good knowledge of Kubernetes
● Very good knowledge of a programming language (Python, Go, Java, etc.)
● Mastery of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, GitHub, jenkins, etc.)
● Knowledge of Google Workspace
● Knowledge of CI / CD oriented development chains
● Knowledge of Bigdata, SQL, NoSQL
● Knowledge of on-premises hosting infrastructure
● Optimization of platform usage costs according to the company's financial stakes
